Abstract: The Fukang western mining area is located in the foot of the Bogda Mountain fault-fold belt and the Fukang syncline lift in the southeastern margin of the Junggar Basin. This research combined with the logging, mud logging, test, seismic and drainage date of 40 exploration wells in this area, taking Badaowan formation A2 coal seam as an example, through statistical, regression and comparative analysis method to analyze the geological factors influencing the productivity of CBM wells. The results show that the buried depth, thickness, gas content, permeability and structural position are the main factors influencing the productivity of CBM wells in the Fukang western mining area, according to the different well sites to optimize the drainage system, guide the reasonable drainage of CBM wells.Furthermore, the results can provide geological basis for the later well deployment.
